“And this new tragedy, the shipwreck in Pylos, bears the stamp of the EU and its policy, which has been implemented by all governments and their political parties to date and leads to such tragic shipwrecks, to the loss of souls, human lives, in Mediterranean, in the Aegean” said the head of the KE of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoubas, from the rally at the Syntagma for the shipwreck off Pylos with many dead.

“What needs to be done, at least at this moment, is to immediately repeal the Dublin Regulation, to repeal the EU-Turkey joint statement that leads to such tragedies, to respect the Geneva Convention on refugees, immigration and asylum and not to turn into this new despicable Pact prepared by the EU and its governments, which essentially buries the rights of refugees, the rights of asylum” emphasized D. Koutsoubas and concluded with his statement:

“These are just a few of the proposals submitted by the KKE and the other parties are not implementing them.
