Plan which the ND has prepared for her health brings a “revolution” in the health sector, the head of the ND State ballot and former Secretary General of Public Health told SKAI Irini Agapidakis.
He noted that his basic principles are prevention, the reorganization of the NHS and evaluation everywhere.
He explained that the plan envisages the recruitment of 10,000 doctors, nurses and EKAV staff.
Answering in the opposition’s criticism of the recovery fund and the money that will go to public health, he noted that SYRIZA accuses the ND of spending only 2% of the funds.
In fact, he notes, the percentage from the state aid part of the Recovery Fund amounts to 9%, which is almost what PASOK is also asking for.
Mrs. Agapidaki emphasized that this is the largest investment made in Health, together with the money directed from the NSRF and the regular Budget,
He also noted that the ND does not proceed with the privatization of Healthbut in partnership between the public and the private sector, so that the citizen can have the services he needs without paying for them.
He mentioned, for example, hundreds of surgeries that have been carried out in the private sector through the EOPYY without the citizens paying, the dramatic reduction observed in ranches in hospitals in emergency rooms and also in secondary transports by private ambulances, so that EKAB can intervene in immediate incidents necessity.
