In fact, as he pointed out, many of them are graduates of university faculties, they know the operation of the university community and today they will be able to serve it again, this time from another position, as executives of EL.AS. contributing to the smooth, smooth and smooth operation of university institutions.

He said that the Rector’s Office should implement security plans, which will include special guards, who will inspire, as he stressed, a sense of security throughout the university community and stressed that the government and the Ministry of Civil Protection are implementing responsibility the government planning for the protection of the Universities, pointing out that every time the Rector’s Authorities request the contribution of EL.AS. there is an immediate response.

According to the minister, the 400 men and women young special guards will undergo four months of theoretical and technical training, receiving all the necessary legal, scientific and social knowledge, in order to be integrated executives of the Hellenic Police. which will staff the guard teams of Greek universities.

The Minister of Citizen Protection also praised the role and contribution of EL.AS. in protecting public health throughout this difficult period of the pandemic, noting that it preserves social cohesion, and thanked it for this mission. That is why the special guards must do their job unaffected, outside of any political and party ideologies. “

Mr. Theodorikakos is also scheduled to meet at the Regional Directorate of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, in Komotini, with the regional governor Christos Metios, local bodies, while immediately afterwards he will visit the Metropolitan of Maronia and Komotini.
