Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias had a telephone conversation with his UAE counterpart, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Monday.
“I expressed my full support and full sympathy to the government and the people of the country, emphasizing that Greece supports its strategic partner, the UAE,” Nikos Dendias said in a Twitter post.
Earlier, in a similar post, the Foreign Ministry condemned the drone attack near the Abu Dhabi International Airport. He also expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wished a speedy recovery to the injured, but also the full solidarity of Greece to its strategic ally and close friend, the United Arab Emirates, and to the Emirati people.
