Mr. Skertsos insisted that as long as a government is elected, New Democracy will also utilize executives outside the party walls
“The real dilemma is responsibility or irresponsibility, forward or backward. We want Greece to move forward, but without leaving anyone behind. We believe that measurement and evaluation is what lends credibility to policy, so our insistence on program costing is a deeply political exercise. We seek a strong and secure self-reliance, which will be a guarantee for a 4-year government. The elections are held for the government and not for who will be the opposition. Greece must reduce the distance between it and Europe” noted, among other things, the press representative of New Democracy, Akis Schertsos in the last briefing of the political editors.
Mr. Skertsos insisted that as long as a government is elected, New Democracy will make use of executives outside the party walls, “who share the vision of Kyriakos Mitsotakis for the Greece of 2027”. The press representative of New Democracy called for massive participation in Sunday’s ballot and repeated that “soft votes for small parties raise the bar of self-reliance and possibly prolong the political deadlock”.
During the questions, Mr. Skertsos insisted that the ND proposal takes the economy further and higher, helps it grow at twice the rate of the rest of Europe, so that the incomes in the country converge with the corresponding European ones .
Also, the press representative of the ND announced that the provisions of the first bill for the staff State 2 include stricter criteria for hospital administrations and called on PASOK to more actively support reforms in the State, which, as he said, it had not done in the previous 4 years.
