The country’s economy is based on solid foundations laid in the previous four years, said the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis, after the meeting led by the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, held at the ministry.

We have started work at the Ministry of National Economy and Finance! And we are optimistic. Optimistic because, firstly, we are stepping on the solid foundations that were laid in the last four years. Secondly, because we have a very positive election result for the country and for the economy of Greece. A result which sends a message of confidence, hope and perspective for the Greek economy.

And at the same time we discussed with the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the framework of the first bill that the Ministry of National Economy and Finance will submit to the Parliament and which will concern the fulfillment of the basic commitments of the New Democracy before the elections. In this way we give an answer to those who questioned the reliability of our promises and we remain faithful to the path we had opened. We say little and do it all!
