Changes occur in the distribution of seats after the completion of the counting of the ballots by the supreme electoral committee.

With one less seat, SYRIZA will find itself falling to 47 seats from 48, while the opposite happens for the KKE, which finally elects 21 MPs from 20 that were initially calculated. In particular, Nikos Exarchos enters the parliament, thus winning a seat in Ioannina.

The completion of the counting changes the scene in several constituencies, with the ruling party registering two losses, one in Ioannina where Giorgos Amyras is not elected and the second in Western Attica since Stamatis Poulis remains out of parliament. ND, also, loses the seventh place in the state, which is won by Pleussi Eleftherias. In other words, Maria Polyzou is not elected and Alexandros Kazamias wins his entry into parliament.

In its gains, however, the ruling party will record two seats since the second Piraeus member of parliament, Yiannis Tragakis, will have the opportunity to return to the seats of the parliament, while in Serres, Theofilos Leontaritis will be elected and Konstantinos Karpouchtsis of Syriza will lose it. But also in A’Athens, the ND wins another seat and Professor Angelos Syrigos enters the parliament.

In Piraeus II, Pleusi Eleftherias loses its seat with Christos Aridas staying out of the parliament and it also leads to changes in Athens I where the party “Niki” loses its seat – in first place was the party’s president Dimitris Natsios, who holds the headquarters of A’ Thessaloniki. “Niki” wins the seat in Western Attica and the journalist Giorgos Palaitsakis is elected.
