Strengthening and upgrading the Labor Inspection Body and mainly:
a) The increase of the Regional Directorates and the dispersion of their local departments, especially in the island country and the critical areas, where there is increased local economic activity and employment of seasonal workforce.
b) Strengthening the human resources of labor inspections, with the aim of shielding the effective operation of the S.E.P.E. and the immediate staffing of the one-person Labor Inspections.
PASOK KINAL will take the necessary legislative initiatives for the substantial upgrade of the Labor Inspection Body, with the aim of complying with labor legislation and ensuring the health and safety of workers, the announcement concludes.
