As the minister stated, “today is a special day. Rafale aircraft will contribute substantially to the protection and defense of Hellenism. They mark the strong ties, but also the strategic relationship of Greece with France. “
Regarding the neighboring country, he pointed out that “unfortunately, Turkey continues its provocative actions by violating the sovereignty and sovereign rights of both Greece and Cyprus. “We will continue to put this unacceptable behavior clearly in the EU and in international fora.”
Finally, he said: “I look forward to continuing the excellent Greek-Cypriot cooperation within the EU, where we face common challenges, such as the Conference on the Future of Europe and the Asylum and Immigration Pact.”
