Question to the Minister of Citizen Protection Yannis Economou the PASOK MP testified about the recent bloody incidents Nadia Giannakopoulou.

The question in detail

“TO: The Minister of Citizen Protection
SUBJECT: “Society, the average Greek family can no longer live in fear of continuous episodes of fan violence and mourn other human lives. “
Mr. Minister,

The entire Greek society is shocked by the loss of yet another young person, a victim of brutal fan violence.
Unfortunately, while the competent services of the Hellenic Republic of Greece seem to have been informed of the arrival of the dangerous hooligans and while their mass movement into our country was prohibited by order of UEFA, they did not intervene in time, from their border entry station in Kakavia to Athens , with the result that the crowd of more than a hundred dangerous people arrived in New Philadelphia undisturbed and the tragic incidents we witnessed unfolded, without the competent authorities being able to prevent or control the unacceptable episodes.

Yesterday, they saw the light of day, official documents of HEL.AS, which refer to information from the police services of Montenegro, Croatia and Interpol, with which they informed the Greek services in detail about the entry of “dangerous fans” into our country, even sharing the license plates of their vehicles. Greek society, the average Greek family, can no longer live in fear of constant episodes of fan violence, local or imported, and mourn other human lives. The “staff state” that the government constantly invokes seems to be helpless and weak, not only in the face of natural disasters, but, unfortunately, it cannot deal with 100 or 200 “imported” hooligans, known worldwide for their far-right views and their cruelty, when it has been notified in time and in detail to this effect, with the result that, apart from the tragic loss of a young man, our country appears as an “open vineyard” and is exposed internationally.
After this, ask Mr. Minister:

Were you personally informed, as the political leader of EL.AS, about the organized mass arrival of “Croatian fans” and if so, what actions did you take?

Were you informed about the relevant plan drawn up by the heads of the competent services of the Hellenic Republic of Greece and if so, what went wrong?
How did the Croatian hooligans manage to enter our country unmolested and cross the entire National Highway from Kakavia to Athens, moving in a motorcade, while there was a relative ban on the movement of fans by UEFA?
In what actions and measures did the “discreet monitoring” of the Croatian hooligans consist of, from one point onward”?

How in the end, since they were, according to the official announcement of EL.AS, in
“discreet monitoring” did the Croatian hooligans manage to reach Athens, use ISAP, get off at a station near the area of New Philadelphia and finally move with bats and knives to the AEK stadium?
Was there any coaching or coordinated action with Greek fans?
The Greek Police has worthy, capable and efficient officers. But what happened in this particular case that he did not intervene in a timely and effective manner, implementing the plan, if there was a plan after all?
