The need to clean and protect everything, including forests, was emphasized by the president of Freedom of Navigation, Zoe Konstantopoulou in its deputation in the Parliament. Responding to the prime minister, he denied that it is “from another planet” to demand that not a single tree be “sacrificed” and that the 70 million acres of forest that constitute our “national wealth” be protected with “adequate fire stations” and “adequate units supervision, cleaning and extinguishing”.

“Not only can you, but you must do them”, he said characteristically, commenting that “with this “perception” we will be led to “complete ecological decay and destruction”.

Moreover, he left spikes against the prime minister for his answers about “impunity” of those responsible for the Eye, saying that he respected “the presumption of his innocence” by informing him with “evidence”, but in the end it is “absolutely confirmed” that the “problem” is “corruption” and “incompetence”.

Finally, he replied that the proposals he submitted “are not ideas” and criticized the attitude of the prime minister, noting that “he thinks he did everything well”. “I am with all of Greece who believes that you have done it in the worst way, in a criminal way,” he said characteristically.
