“I don’t know how Mr. Kasselakis got a loan for the ship. If it’s that easy, let’s all take one ship and be shipowners,” Minister of Labor and Social Security Adonis Georgiadis told SKAI and the show “Kalimera” with George Autias.

“I hope today that he will go to the Central Committee of SYRIZA to answer about the ship. What flag is the ship? Because if the ship is under the Marshall Islands flag, based on the law passed by SYRIZA, Mr. Kasselakis cannot be a candidate for parliament and a politician. It is prohibited. Shouldn’t he tell us transparently what flag his ship is flying?” he added.

Referring to the case of the Kasselakis request for police guard, Mr. Georgiadis emphasized: “It is also proven by his announcement and that of EL.AS. that he himself applied for guard duty. He considered that he was being threatened in the comments because of his personal life and the Greek police decided that they should guard him”, asking the following questions: “Why did he send the guard back from the moment it became known? In other words, because it became known that the police gave him a guard, does the threat against Mr. Kasselakis cease?”

“Mr. Kasselakis took the guard to the hilt. Mr. Kasselakis felt that having a guard damaged his political campaign. This man has a very good advertising company and he has created a nice bubble for himself,” he added.

Regarding the candidacy of Stefanos Kasselakis for the presidency of SYRIZA, Mr. Georgiadis said: “I want to admit my friend Pavlos Polakis. Kasselakis is supported by Polakis. And Polakis is collecting the signatures to run as a candidate. Polakis understood that he could not be elected leader and found Kasselakis who could be elected.”
