“With the establishment of the Ministry of the Family, K. Mitsotakis puts welfare at the heart of government policy,” Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Sofia Zaharakis said to SKAI and the show “Kalimera” with Giorgos Autias.
Ms. Zaharaki announced that “by 2024 there will be a national plan for demographics and the family” and pointed out that “a person with a disability primarily wants access to work. This is what we will aim to increase.”
At the same time, the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family emphasized that a committee will be created for incidents of violence against children as – as she underlined – “we see that incidents of violence against children and between children are increasing”.
