The latest data on the development of businesses in the affected areas were examined in a meeting held in the morning at the Business Coordination Center, in Larissa, under the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis who connected via video conference.
The Prime Minister was informed in detail about the priorities and gave the necessary directions for further actions. Particular emphasis was placed on Public Health issues, the dewatering of the affected areas as well as the collection of dead animals, which is proceeding at a rapid pace and to which was added the assistance of the Armed Forces always in accordance with all health regulations.
The latest figures of the State Aid of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection and the pace at which the autopsies and records of houses and buildings are progressing by the levels of the General Secretariat for the Rehabilitation of Natural Disasters and State Aid were also examined.
At the same time, the submission of applications to the first aid platform continues, arogi.gov.gr., while for the villages that were completely affected by the unprecedented flooding phenomenon payment to residents will be made automatically, without submitting an application, but based on data processed by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection and the AADE. This afternoon will be followed by a detailed briefing from the Business Coordination Center in the Region of Thessaly.
