The attendance of voters in the 570 polling stations throughout the country for the selection of the new president of SYRIZA is continuous, it seems that the current ones will be broken.

Encouraging are the data so far regarding the participation since a large turnout was recorded in the election centers of Athens, Thessaloniki and Crete. According to data from Koumoundourou, 45,000 people had voted by 12:30 in the morning. Of these, 11,000 are new members, an impressive 25%. This means that so far 25% of voters are new members who registered with SYRIZA to vote, paying the relevant fee.
At around 21:00 there will be an image for 50% and around 11 at night it will be known whether SYRIZA will have a new leader from today or will need a second round on September 24.

“Today we are voting, today we are changing”, said SYRIZA presidential candidate Nikos Pappas immediately after exercising his right to vote at the Kaisariani polling station.
“We are participating,” emphasized Mr. Pappas, “to confront the right wing of Mr. Mitsotakis, to save society, workers and the middle class from his plans.
