“What to do with the politicians if they act as proxies for the big ones who want you small?”, said Stefanos Kasselakis, among others.
“Every small business has the right to equal opportunities to become big. Unfortunately, oligopolies, banks, age-old ideologies and government audacity undermine your own “Greek dream”. To stop this, we need to make rules.”
This was noted by Stefanos Kasselakis, SYRIZA PS president candidate, speaking today from the stage of the pan-European conference on small and medium entrepreneurship, organized by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and GSEVEE.
He emphasized that “in the next five years, Greece will manage more than 60 billion euros and the current planning has put small businesses on the sidelines, reproducing pathogens without treatment”.
“What to do with the politicians if they act as proxies for the big ones who want you small?”
As he noted: “The political and economic establishment of the country will soon be forced to change and we will find space for you to make your own “Greek dream” come true. What should you do to the politicians if they act as proxies for the big ones who want you small?”.
In this context, among the proposals he is working on, as he mentioned, is the need to promote the complete restructuring of the loan portfolios of professionals, merchants and artisans, with viability studies, a special quota of state-guaranteed access to bank financing, for businesses that promote innovation and/or produce high added value in critical sectors of the economy, holistic approach to the problem of debts to the State and insurance funds, with bold write-offs of debts without asterisks and complete removal of the seizure of professional accounts for amounts related to business operation , interconnection of IT schools of public Universities and Business Administration departments, creating partnerships for the transfer of free know-how and digital toolkits to small businesses and, in addition, to advance the interconnection of Greek small businesses with large foreign businesses that supply the state.
