After the meeting with Stefanos Kasselakis in his office in the Parliament, Nikos Filis called on SYRIZA voters to remain united in view of Sunday’s elections.
Nikos Filis characterized the meeting he had with Stefanos Kasselakis as sincere and stated that although there were different opinions, there was a common goal, “which is for SYRIZA to fight the self-governing elections and for the popular disapproval of the Mitsotakis government to be registered at the ballot box ».
He then said: “What I have said I did not say in the heat of the moment, I said it with pain and a large part of our voters share it. To whom I call to remain united today in SYRIZA and fight the municipal elections and the battle of the reconstruction of our party.
Because when we lose in the space of the Left, this is not equaled by other political spaces. Our intention is to stay united, but that intention will emerge as a possibility and as a result of the behavior of all sides.”
