Any disagreements and opposing views are respected and legitimate. It is sufficient that they be submitted and discussed in the relevant party bodies. Legitimate criticism within the institutions is one thing, and public undermining by television is another. Criticism has limits which some have long since crossed, as correctly stated by the vice-president of the parliament Olga Gerovasilis.

Messrs. Vitsas, Skourletis, Filis chose to put themselves out of SYRIZA-PS, proving that they are not interested in the real problems of the country and society. Possessed by a peculiar elitism and a proprietary view of the party, they attempt to deconstruct not only the newly elected new president but the very democratic process of his election by the party base.

Let it be understood by all: such practices are no longer tolerated. SYRIZA has no owners. He belongs to his world, to his base, and that base has decided to have new political leadership. We represent them and we are accountable to them.
