This time Nikos Karanikas severely criticizes the SYRIZA youth on the occasion of its announcement requesting the immediate convening of the Political Secretariat

It is recalled that the SYRIZA youth, with its announcement, strongly reacted to the “deletion” announcement by the official opposition party of Nikos Filis, Dimitris Vitsa and Panos Skourletis alleging a violation of the statute.
In this setting, he requests the “immediate convening of the Political Secretariat in order to revoke these deletions”.

A while ago we were informed that the President of SYRIZA-PS, Stefanos Kasselakis, announced on social media that three central officials of SYRIZA-PS were expelled from the party.
We fail to understand how the percentage he received in the internal party elections gives him the ability to violate every article of the statute.
Such practices are highly anti-democratic, authoritarian and dangerous, as they create a status quo, where the institution of the president exceeds every democratic function that our Party historically embraced but also fought for socially.
We demand the immediate convening of the Political Secretariat in order to revoke these deletions.
