A meeting of the SYRIZA Ethics Committee is currently underway, which indicates that the process of impeachment of the four party officials is progressing normally.
It is recalled that by the decision of the party president Stefanos Kasselakis they are referred for deletion due to a series of statements they made Stefanos Tzoumakas, Panos Skourletis, Nikos Filis and Dimitris Vitsas.
The procedure provides for the appointment today of the four Three-member Committees, one committee for each case, which will gather the material to document the Commission’s position for each individual.
It should be noted that the Committee is meeting today despite the fact that there was no meeting between the president of SYRIZA, Stefanos Kasselakis, and the chairman of the Ethics Committee, Antonis Kotsakas, in order to start the process.
According to the statute, the Commission has the ability to initiate the procedure and ex officio.
