Issues that have to do with the daily life of citizens are on the government’s agenda as a first priority, said Mr. Tsiodras
The director of the Prime Minister’s Press Office, Dimitris Tsiodras, spoke about the problems in the everyday lives of citizens and the government’s actions to deal with them. on ERT television and Stella Papamichail and Maki Provatas.
“Many times in the current affairs, other issues dominate – rightly, I do not say wrongly – and issues that really affect the lives of citizens take second place”, noted Mr. Tsiodras, stressing that “along with these, there have been a number of other things”.
“Beyond the passing of the economic programwe have the bill on public administrations, which changes a lot of things. A series of issues that have to do with health, either with the strengthening of the EKAB, or with the medicines at home for 120,000 chronic sufferers”, pointed out Mr. Tsiodras and went on to mention “the issues related to dealing with tax evasion, which it is a matter of justice, but also of securing resources in order to direct them to social actions”.
He added that “money is constantly being sought in order to support social actions. And the issue of tax justice is something that I think he was concerned about before the election as well as afterwards. It’s an issue that concerns Greek society, when you see some paying, some not paying.”
“Issues that have to do with the daily life of citizens are on the government’s agenda as a first priority. And the four years, if we can say that it is marked by what we call “multilevel modernization”, this must be seen in the lives of citizens. It is not an empty slogan, it must be seen on the buses, it must be seen in safety, it must be seen in the improvement of their daily life”, underlined Mr. Tsiodras.
