Disbursements to the “Spiti mou” program are increasing, the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Sofia Zaharakis told SKAI and the show “Kalimera” with Giorgos Autias.

“Today 1286 disbursements have been made and 1800 applications and 9632 affiliations have been approved. By the end of 2024, over 18,000 citizens will have found their home. After years, the state is taking an initiative for the roof”, underlined Ms. Zaharaki.

Also, the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family announced that “soon the renovate – rent program will run. We give the citizen more options to both rent and buy.”

Also, Ms. Zaharaki noted that “this year we have given over 360 million for nurseries and Creative Employment Centers. And we will increase this state aid by 15 million in 2024 so that we have more vouchers. The participation of women in the labor market must be increased.”

Referring to the allowances, she emphasized that “the disabled are not affected. 50% of the rewards go to the debit card. Disabilities have already increased. Our country is one of the first to have the digital card for the disabled and the personal assistant”.
