SYRIZA PS’s parliamentary representative and head of finance accuses the ND government of “turning a deaf ear to the universal reactions of the trade unions”
“Mr. Hatzidakis must withdraw the Pissaridian logic bill and discuss together with everyone, opposition and institutions, the ways to deal with tax evasion, which the ND government does not seem to want to control”, says Nikos Pappas, in a statement on the occasion of the posting for consultation of the bill of the Ministry of Finance.
SYRIZA PS’s parliamentary representative and head of finance accuses the ND government of “turning a deaf ear to the universal reactions of professional associations, federations and chambers” and of “choosing to target the middle class with horizontal taxation on the just and the unjust, without to crack down on tax evasion and the “big fish”.
Mr. Pappas emphasizes that the solution is the proposal of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance which, among other things, includes:
1. Tax-free up to 10,000 euros for everyone.
2. Abolish the pretense fee.
3. Regulation of private debt to insurance funds and tax authorities, protection of primary residence, business premises, agricultural land.
4. Access of SMEs to bank loans, to the Recovery Fund, to European funds.
