The benefits arising from the codification of insurance legislation were analyzed by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Adonis Georgiades and the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Panos Tsakloglouspeaking at an event held today, Wednesday, November 22.
As Mr. Georgiadis said, the work of codification has more than 10,000 pages, is divided into 11 books per thematic section and includes 191 laws, 69 Royal and Presidential Decrees and 255 ministerial decisions. At the same time, Mr. Georgiadis noted that the next project will be the uniform regulation of benefits. “It is necessary to do it not only for reasons of social justice, but also for purely practical reasons, in order to reach in about three years from today the point where every citizen will know his insurance rights, but also his obligations and everything will be done without any delay” he said characteristically.
