“We are here to organize even better in 2024, to level up, to cooperate better, to be able to invest in prevention, which we strongly believe in to protect our fellow citizens. This is the Civil Protection, this is the Fire Brigade, its men and women, they are people who selflessly perform their duty and this is how they should feel and this is how Greek society should treat them. And of course over here, our fellow citizens the Lamiotes and the Lamiotisses. I want once again to wish everyone a Happy Birthday and a healthy New Year. It was a typical wish some years ago, the one we said at the holidays, wishing each other good health and now really after the pandemic and after the huge crises that the planet has faced, but we are also facing now with the climate crisis, it has a special meaning. I wish you all the best too. Be well“, said the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.
