“At a time when precision continues unbridled to destroy the everyday life of citizens and Greece has fivefold increases in food prices compared to the rest of Europe.

At a time when the prime minister tolerated baby milk being sold 213% more expensive than in the rest of Europe, and is swindling citizens with colorful tariffs to hide the obscene profit that exists in the energy market.

He spoke, in fact, with extreme hypocrisy about “banana” and about “inflation of greed”. The reality is that the policies of his own government are fueling the inflation of greed.

On the part of the New Left, we immediately demand the imposition of a real ceiling on the final price of basic necessities as well as energy. The reduction of the VAT on food and the real taxation of the surplus profits that accumulate in the energy companies and in the refineries, on the backs of the Greek citizens all these years.
