Mr. Dendias stated after the meeting: “I met today with the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Aviation Industry appointed by me. He assumes his duties at a particularly difficult time. The “Agenda 2030” for our country’s Armed Forces envisages an upgraded role for the domestic defense industry and the Hellenic Aerospace Industry plays a pivotal role in this. The current situation in the ODA is not acceptable. The new Board of Directors is therefore called upon to determine exactly where the ODA stands. To clean up its finances, to reorganize the business, to implement a modern operating model, always respecting the money of the Greek taxpayers.

And all this in order to be able to meet the obligations towards the Armed Forces of our country. In particular, against the Air Force, but also the Navy and the Air Force of our Army.

The Government’s decision – I think with the support of the entire political world but also of the entire Greek society – is to move into a new era in the Greek Aviation Industry”.
