“We hope, Mr. Mitsotakis, that you will come to the Parliament on Friday to discuss the topical question of Alexis Haritsis about Thessaly. There you will be forced to respond on the merits, not with communicative fireworks,” notes the New Left
“THE Prime Minister continues to intervene as a current affairs commentator. At a time when the blockades throughout Greece are strengthening and multiplying, Mr. Mitsotakis with a firework announcement he announced the increase of first aid to the farmers of Thessaly”, says the New Left in its announcement under the title “The mockery of farmers continues.”
He comments that “what he forgot to say is that hundreds of farmers who saw their capital completely destroyed, they have not even received the first aid of 2,000 euros while even today, six months later, they do not know the amount and the method of calculating the final compensation”. They add that “his colleagues probably forgot to inform him that not even the one-time compensation for household goods has been paid to all the beneficiaries, i.e. the citizens who lost their homes”. In the same context, they add that there was none “not a word” about the demands of farmers and breeders, while for agricultural oil a “we’ll see”.
“Really, what are you triumphant about, Mr. Mitsotakis? We hope you will come to the Parliament on Friday for the discussion of Alexis Haritsis’ topical question about Thessaly. There you will be forced to respond in substance, not with communicative fireworks,” notes the New Left.
