Specifically, Mr. Kikilias states:
“Today 11/2 is the European Day of 112 or otherwise the number that saves lives and has a double use. On the one hand it is the number we call all over Europe when someone is in danger. It works 24 hours a day and has the ability to locate the caller. On the other hand is the number that warns us with a view to prevention and safety by sending alerts. But we don’t stop there. 112 is technologically evolving and now has the ability to send teleworking, telelearning and curfew updates. 112 is the number that saves lives.”
