The president of “NIKIS” severely criticized the government for the bill on equality in civil marriage. Dimitris Natsios, during his speech to the Plenary.

“Do not pollute the sacred word of the family. I believe that the Parliament is experiencing one of the worst moments in the history of the parliamentary life of the new Hellenism. The government of the New Democracy introduced for a vote in the Plenary a shameful bill, the establishment of the pseudo-marriage of homosexuals”, emphasized Mr. Natsios, while noting that “the bill has three pernicious parameters. Firstly, the legalization of the perversion of human physiology and ontology, secondly the desecration of the sacred institution of marriage and thirdly the unconditional handing over of children for adoption to homosexual couples, with truly unexpected and tragic consequences for these innocent creatures”.

Afterwards, the president of “NIKIS” said, among other things: “Two men, no matter how hard they try, they don’t have a maternal filter. Two women do not offer a paternal role model and love has nothing to do with the insatiable satisfaction of desires. You don’t get love for a child like buying a pet from a pet shop. Even a puppy that is up for adoption is not taken from its mother before it is weaned. And you tell us that completely uprooting the sacred bond of mother and child is a product of love”?

At the same time, he characterized the family “as the basic core of human socialization”, while adding: “And a family is only one that has an androgynous composition. This is what mankind has always believed. It’s funny how some people think the story starts with them. A single-parent family can also be described as a family. Family also contains love, romance and sexuality, but it is also much more than that. It has an element of sanctity. When one homosexual guardian assumes the role of “mother” and the other the role of “father”, it shows that this sterile coexistence is nothing more than a distorted imitation of the normal couple.”

Mr. Natsios also argued that it is a matter of time to establish “parent 1” and “parent 2”, while referring to the global turnover of the legalized baby trade, through surrogacy, he noted: “It is estimated that for 2022 it reached 14 billion dollars. By 2032, that amount is projected to jump to $129 billion, according to a market research consultancy. And how much does it cost each mother to sell her guts? Depending on the economy of the country that allows it. For example in Georgia and Ukraine, commercial surrogacy programs cost around $40,000-$50,000, while in the US, the amounts double and reach an average of $120,000.”

Finally, the president of “NIKI” criticized the government and the fact that the Church was excluded from the committees for the bill, while he claimed that “it is an insult to holy marriage, motherhood, fatherhood, the child, the ancestors us, nature and above all insult and blasphemy against God himself”.
