“Until Wednesday, the platform for working pensioners opens”, Deputy Minister of Labor Vassilis Spanakis told SKAI and the show “Kalimera” with Giorgos Autias.

He also emphasized that “within the week the ministerial decision will be issued”.

Mr. Spanakis pointed out that “around 40 thousand pensioners were working until today” and estimated that “more than 50 thousand pensioners will declare their work on the platform”.

As the Deputy Minister of Labor said, “there are too many people who want to work”

“An issue that has concerned pensioners for many years is being resolved,” he added.

However, Mr. Spanakis emphasized that “the issue with disability pensions will be resolved. Those who are working and their disability pension has been cut, in the next period it will be resolved so that they do not have to stop their work”.

With reference to the birth allowance and the maternity allowance, the Deputy Minister of Labor clarified that “the retrospectives for the birth allowance are from 1/1/2023, while the retrospectives for the maternity allowance are from 24/9/2023”.

Regarding the minimum wage, Mr. Spanakis emphasized that “by March 22, the Labor Minister’s proposal to the cabinet will be made, with implementation on April 1.”

“If some employers do not pay the three years, it is a criminal offense and has administrative penalties,” he added.
