SYRIZA’s press representative, Voula Kehagia, gives an answer to government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis on the issue of Stefanos Kasselakis’ company abroad.

In a statement by SYRIZA, Mrs. Kehagia points out that “the government of Mr. Mitsotakis cannot hide its concern over the fact that the Greek people have begun to turn their backs on it just a few months after the national elections of last June, something which is clearly reflected in the qualitative findings of the polls”.

At the same time, referring to the issue of Mr. Kasselakis’s company, she notes that “in the US, entrepreneurship for expatriate Greeks is intertwined with transparency and legality at all levels, in contrast to practices to which various families who get rich with opaque and often “unspecified” way even through offshore companies”.

The announcement in detail:

Obviously, the government of Mr. Mitsotakis cannot hide its concern over the fact that the Greek people have started to turn their backs on it just a few months after the national elections of last June, which is clearly reflected in the qualitative findings of the opinion polls .
Faced with this finding and under the weight of its condemnation by the European Parliament for Rule of Law issues, it attacks SYRIZA PS and its president, trying to convince that “everyone is the same”. He uses distorting lenses to undermine the official opposition party and cast shadows on its leader Stefanos Kasselakis.
It hurts in vain! In the US, entrepreneurship for expatriate Greeks is intertwined with transparency and legality at all levels in contrast to practices that various families are used to who get rich in an opaque and often “unspecified” way even through offshore companies.
Apparently having learned to operate in this way, without even being taxed like all expat businessmen even for the last euro/dollar they think that everyone else is resorting to the same means.
