The conflict between the government and SYRIZA is intensifying on the occasion of the business activities of Stefanos Kasselakis, with both sides launching attacks on each side with a series of announcements.

With reports about Mr. Kasselakis’ company active in lobster fishing, the public prosecutor’s investigation, but also the statements of the former finance director of the party, the two sides, keeping their voices high, have indulged in a war of statements.

In particular, the government representative, Pavlos Marinakis, accused Mr. Kasselakis of blowing the whistle indifferently and spouting vagueness while avoiding giving answers.

“The president of SYRIZA continues to whistle nonchalantly about his business activities, refusing to reveal exactly what they are.

He awkwardly spews vagueness and slings mud through leaks, answering questions that aren’t put to him rather than the real relentless questions that are being asked.

As long as Mr. Kasselakis throws the ball on the platform, he is exposed. From last September’s “my name is Stefano”, it only took six months to reach “my name is Rizo and I shoot as I want”.

We invite him again to answer himself, “directly” as he likes to say, to specific questions that arise:

How many and which companies does the leader of SYRIZA have abroad?

What exactly are the professional activities of Mr. Kasselakis?

Does he know, as he should, what the law passed by the government of the party that is now president provides?

We will wait. Let him do it himself – at least through Tik Tok, since he doesn’t even respond to SYRIZA’s informal updates, but chooses evasion.

It is noteworthy that in its informal briefing, SYRIZA chooses not to speak about the other part of the questions we raised about the “para-systems” that operated in the Maximos palace during the days of Mr. Tsipras – as now also the his own ministers.

This silence means guilt or emptiness, or possibly both.”

SYRIZA sources responded to Mr. Marinaki’s statement with a sharp comment, referring to the government’s “panic”.

Why is there such a big panic from the government representative Pavlos Marinakis and Megaros Maximos?”, comment Koumoundourou sources.

“Could it be due to the fact that the president of SYRIZA – PS Stefanos Kasselakis has already collected many stamps from the market in competitive fields, in contrast to various non-professional firebrands who grew up with … lobster pasta and now when they govern they cover up crimes? “Perhaps Mr. Greenberg sees some new rolling metrics that we all see,” they say. As a “note”, the same sources comment: “thank you for admitting that Stefanos Kasselakis knows how to do Tik Tok better than Kyriakos Mitsotakis”.
