That is why we propose the abolition or suspension of the Golden Visa, said the president of PASOK-KINAL during his afternoon tour of the market of Peristeri
The Peristeri market was visited on Thursday afternoon by President of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakisas part of the party’s campaign about the housing crisis.
In his statements, Mr. Androulakis noted, among other things: “New Democracy managed to make housing the most expensive right in Greece. Rents for families have increased over the past four years by 42% and for students by around 50%. Under these conditions there can be no half measures. That is why we recommend the abolition or suspension of the Golden Visa. And, of course, for those properties that have already been sold with Golden Visa, we recommend that they not be allowed to be short-term leased, only owner-occupied or long-term leased. And finally, we propose extensive social housing programs. With these positions, rents will be reduced and the cost of living will drop, which makes the reality unbearable for thousands of Greek citizens all over Greece.”
The president of PASOK-KINAL will tour the market of Korydallos tomorrow Friday at 18:30 (meeting point: Grig. Lambrakis and Taxiarhon).
