“The government must go. Its stay is a disgrace to democracy”, emphasized the president of the KO party, Alexis Haritsis
“Today the president of PASOK reinstates the motion of no confidence submitted by the New Left. We don’t make games. The New Left will support the motion of no confidence in the government. It doesn’t go any further“, the New Left says in a statement.
As he points out, “on March 6, the New Left invited SYRIZA, PASOK, KKE and Pleussi Eleftherias to submit a joint motion of no confidence in the government. They chose for petty party reasons to reject this proposal. Today, the president of PASOK is bringing back the proposal of the New Left. We don’t play games.”
“The president of the KO of the New Left, Alexis Haritsis, said this early this morning: The government must go. Its stay is a disgrace to democracy. The New Left will support the motion of no confidence in the government. It doesn’t go any further,” concludes the party’s statement.
Earlier, the president of the party’s KO, Alexis Haritsis, had stated:
“Today’s front page report of the newspaper “To Vima” about the crime of Tempe is revealing: the audio of the dialogues between the station master and the train driver that was leaked to the media is falsified. It is the last straw”, said Mr. Haritsis.
“It is now proven that from the very first hours the government set up a monstrous operation of communication cover-up and disinformation of the Greek society. A business that continues today, one year later,” he added.
“There is no more room for tolerance,” Mr. Haritsis underlined, stressing that “the Mitsotakis government must leave immediately. Her stay is a disgrace to society, democracy, the country. The cover-up is over. Right will prevail.”
