The plenary session of the Parliament where the motion of no confidence against the government submitted by the opposition was discussed was interrupted for a few minutes, as the Zoe Konstantopoulou he was not in the room.

The president of Plevsis Eleftherias, had declared an obstacle, even though it was her turn to speak, as the speeches of the political leaders are made in the opposite direction of their parliamentary power.

After negotiations between the Speaker of the Parliament, Constantinos Tasoula, with the vice-presidents and the other political leaders, the debate finally started shortly before 5:00 PM, with the president of NIKIS, Dimitris Natsios, finally taking the lead. Zoe Konstantopoulou’s deposition was expected to take place around 18.00, but the meeting it was interrupted again, until it appeared at 6:15.

Taking the floor earlier, during the resumption of the meeting, the chairwoman, Olga Gerovasili, announced that due to an “extraordinary” problem, the president of Plevsis Eleftherias will take her position later: “An urgent matter has arisen for Ms. Konstantopoulou. He will speak at approximately 18.00 and we thank the political leaders for their understanding.”
