“The truth that they diligently try to hide from the government for a year now, will soon come to the surface”, notes SYRIZA
“Under the pressure of Greek society, which urgently demands that every side of the crime in Tempi be illuminated and that justice be served, it seems that mouths are slowly opening within the New Democracy as well”, underlines in his announcement o SYRIZA-PS.
As stated in the said announcement, “Maria Spyraki, MEP and re-candidate with the ND, admitted in her TV appearance, on the program “Morning Greece” (11.4.24, ANT1), that “the handling in Tempi was not the best, in principle in everything concerned the possibility for the Commission of Inquiry to go to great lengths and examine witnesses who had not been examined”. He even went on to point out that “the performance of the Exam does not make us happy, it does not leave anyone happy in all fields”.
“The truth that they have been diligently trying to hide from the government for a year now, will soon come out.” notes, SYRIZA, commenting that this is “a strange admission by an experienced member of the ND that this particular Commission of Inquiry concluded, with the sole responsibility of the majority, to be another link in the chain of obfuscation sought by Megaros Maximos”.
“And it confirms the chilling admission of Mr. Mitsotakis himself, a few days ago, that the Commission of Inquiry into the crime of Tempe was made only for the “eyes of the world””. completes the official opposition.
“After all, the prime minister, responsible for the cover-up, after the intervention of Stefanos Kasselakis, was caught yesterday lying for the umpteenth time, regarding the cargo of the commercial train that collided with the passenger train in Tempi. It’s not the first time, it doesn’t look like it will be the last. We ask ourselves again: ‘How many more lies will be told, about how many things, for how long?’ concludes the SYRIZA-PS announcement
