The amendment on the observatory of children’s toys prices was submitted to the Parliament

An amendment was submitted to the tax law of the Ministry of Finance, which is being introduced for discussion today Thursday in the Plenary, which provides the children’s toy price observatory application called “the godfather’s basket”.

Among other things, the obligees must include at least one product from each category of products included in the basket, must place a clear special mark on the shelf of the participating products, while a fine of 1,000 – 10,000 euros is provided for each violation.
The measure will be set in effect April 22 through May 4.
With the same amendment and with other provisions included therein:
- It is ensured that the aids given, based on the support schemes under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), are paid to the beneficiaries in full.
- Decisions of committees for the determination of seashores and beaches, which were taken before the entry into force of Law 5092/2024, can be approved by the secretary of Decentralized Administration and published, to avoid unnecessary repetition of the process under the new committees.
- The EAS relocation process is being accelerated. S.A. from the area where the Andreas Lentakis government park will be created. To this end, the possibility is provided for the sale or disposal in any convenient way of EAS S.A.’s movable property. located in the area. In this way, the space will soon become available to start the work required to create the government park.
- For the year 2024, the arrangements for the exemption from the Uniform Property Ownership Tax of property rights that have been classified as preserved monuments or works of art are extended. In this way, the existing favorable status for these properties is maintained and their purpose is better served, without the additional financial burden of ENFIA.
