The president of SYRIZA-PS launched an attack on Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who “does not have the basic ethics to expel a homophobic member of parliament from his parliamentary group” via social media, even quoting a relevant excerpt from an interview with the member of parliament of Drama, Dimitris Kyriazidis, on a channel of region.

“Do you know this gentleman? Kyriakos Mitsotakis knows him very well. He is a member of parliament. He doesn’t know whether to put the article “o” or “the” in front of the name, not mine, but every citizen who has a different sexual orientation than him. And he continues to be a ND MP” says Stefanos Kasselakis in his post.

In his post, the president of SYRIZA-PS continues: “It’s been a week, I deliberately did not ask for his deletion. I wanted to see if the so-called liberal Mr. Mitsotakis has the basic morals to expel a homophobic member of parliament from his parliamentary group.

The Prime Minister does not squander a single one of the 157 seats he has, in order to protect the right to dignity and equality of all the citizens of our country. He is the same Prime Minister who is taking down a chilling far-right ballot in the European elections.
