The independent MP K. Floros grabbed V. Grammenos by the throat and threw him to the floor – “We thought we were addressing people elementary. An unprecedented episode took place between the independent MP Constantinos Floros and the Hellenic Solution MP Vassilis Grammenos, outside the Plenary.
According to information, Mr. Floros grabbed him by the neck and threw him to the floor.
There had been a verbal episode between them while the removal of Kyriakos Velopoulos’ immunity was being discussed.
The Hellenic Solution MP is in the Parliament’s clinic at this time.
Immediately after the incident, the Speaker of the Parliament spoke of brutal behavior and announced the removal of K. Floros from all parliamentary activities for 15 days.
As Mr. Tasoulas said, further measures will be taken against the independent MP and his immunity will be lifted.
“We thought we were basically addressing people. By regulation, I remove him with the guard for 15 days from the proceedings. Obviously, there will be a procedure to remove the immunity. He will also face the legal consequences” said Mr. Tasoulas.
According to what K. Floros mentioned in a dialogue they had between them, V. Grammenos addressed him with abusive and insulting characteristics.
