ND representative, Nikos Romanos, guest on SKAI’s “Mismatches” show, spoke about the productivity bonus for civil servants and clarified that it will not be given before the European elections, responding to SYRIZA’s criticism that it is a pre-election announcement.

In particular, Mr. Romanos explained that “we are taking the next step of the evaluation as it makes sense in order to arrive at a logic in which there will be a different treatment for the one who is doing well. This is the step we are taking, for which we have said from the beginning that it will not be a punitive one.”

He then added that “nothing will be given before the European elections. SYRIZA also lies during the presidency of Mr. Kasselakis and this has gotten worse. There is a logic to the planning of government work. This government has moved with great speed in reforms and one more is the bonus for civil servants”.

Asked for the sentences in the trial of the Eye, Mr. Romanos, emphasized that “we have said that we do not comment on the decisions of the Court, unlike others who use Justice and tragedies as instruments. In the eye SYRIZA makes black white resorting to lies as he tries to argue that the alleged trial of the Eye was done under the Penal Code that came into force yesterday. The trial was based on the Criminal Code of SYRIZA”.

Asked to comment on the incidents of violence inside churches, the representative of the ruling party stated that “it is clear that some people build their political existence as uninvited porters of churches, with the logic of Christian trafficking. Mr. Velopoulos uses faith as a tool and is responsible for his statements.”
