He likened her to a “roaring mouse”. North Macedonia the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendiasspeaking a while ago to the National Defense and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament, expressing his anxiety that “the bad time”, if it ever comes, will not come from the neighboring country on the northern border but from Turkey.

“I always say, don’t let the bad time come, but the bad time may come. And of course the bad time will not come from North Macedonia, the mouse that has been roaring for the last few days.

It will come from a country with ten times the population, with four times the GDP, which means that if we don’t realize that we have to be at an amazingly good level, we won’t succeed, and we all have a great responsibility towards this”, emphasized the Minister, underlining the need for continuous reinforcement of the Armed Forces as in Greece “we do not have the luxury of security that Western countries have”.

In fact, he repeated his anxiety about the danger lurking on the Turkish side:

“I am possessed by a great anxiety. I haven’t hidden it from you. After all, most of you have known me for many years and you know that I say what I feel in this room.”
