Another announcement was made by EPO ahead of the final of the Europa Conference League to be held in OPAP Arenaat May 29 between Olympiakos and Fiorentina.
In this announcement, the Greek federation points out which items will be prohibited for those who will be at the Opap Arena to watch the game, as well as the documents they must have with them.
The EPO announcement in detail:
“Ahead of the UEFA Europa Conference League final at AEK Arena (29/05/2024) between Olympiacos and Fiorentina, the list of items prohibited from entering the facility is announced. It is recalled that it is expressly forbidden to approach the field to fans who are not holders of tickets for the great final and it is underlined that tickets are only available electronically.
– It is underlined that only shirts, scarves and insignia of the two finalists are allowed in the stadium and entry will be prohibited to anyone who has insignia of other clubs or National Teams.
-Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes and tobacco products is not allowed inside the stadium.
– Water bottles are not allowed inside the stadium. Water will be sold at specific concession stands, which will be available to all fans.
– All sports fans, who have secured a ticket for the final, must ensure that they have an original ID or other legal identification document such as passport and diploma and bring them with them when entering the stadium. When approaching and entering the stadium, physical checks will be carried out continuously.
Prohibited items
The following items are strictly prohibited and must not be brought onto the match field:
a) bags no larger than A4 (210 mm x 297 mm x 210 mm).
b) weapons of any kind or anything that could be adapted for use as a weapon (including umbrellas). For the avoidance of doubt, a portable mobile phone charger a portable mobile phone charger of a similar size or smaller than the phone itself, shall not be considered a projectile and shall be permitted within the stadium.
c) bottles, jugs or cans of any kind, as well as other items made of plastic, glass or any other fragile materials, except for items required for documented medical reasons.
d) fireworks, flares, smoke powder, smoke bombs or other pyrotechnics.
e) containers for spraying gases, corrosive/flammable substances, paints or containers containing substances that are harmful to health or highly flammable.
f) face coverings, including helmets, fullfaces and ski masks.
g) laser devices.
h) drones.
i) food of any kind, except for items required for documented medical reasons.
j) alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating, dangerous substances, except for substances required for documented medical reasons;
k) any offensive, racist, xenophobic, sexist, religious, political or other illegal/prohibited material, including propaganda that promotes discrimination.
l) any promotional, commercial items or materials, including banners, signs, symbols and brochures.
m) flexible flagpoles exceeding 1 (one) meter in length and 1 (one) cm in diameter.
n) banners or flags larger than 2.0 (two) x 1.5 (one and a half) meters. Smaller flags and banners may be permitted, provided they are made of materials considered non-flammable and comply with local law requirements. All banners or flags larger than 2.0 (two) x 1.5 (one and a half) meters are only permitted with a written request confirmed by UEFA and/or the host Association.
o) electronically, mechanically or manually operated sound emitting devices such as loudspeakers.
p) professional cameras and video cameras or other professional audio and video recording equipment. It is understood that cameras, video cameras and other audio or video recording equipment may be brought into the stadium for private use and will be accepted.
q) all devices used for the purposes of transmitting or disseminating any infringing content.
h) animals, other than guide dogs and/or assistance dogs (provided that such guide or assistance, dogs are permitted to enter the stadium in accordance with applicable law).
In the event of any doubt regarding any item brought into the Stadium, the competent person designated by UEFA is responsible for deciding which items are prohibited or permitted in accordance with the Stadium Regulations.
