Stefanos Kasselakis strongly criticizes the Minister of Health in a post on social media.

“I thank the vice-president of ND Adonis Georgiadis for calling me a ‘mapa’. It thus reminds everyone with whom Mr. Mitsotakis co-governs. After all, everyone has the face (mapa) that suits them”, comments the president of SYRIZA. “So I am asking Adonis Georgiadis to continue to address me with characterizations. But don’t dare to call nurses and health workers “kaffirs” and “little people” again. Don’t you dare divide patients into VIPs and mere mortals again, so that the VIP with a sprain is ahead of the civilian with a stroke or heart attack. These are the things that bother me, not the attacks on me which, after all, separate me from his morals and that’s enough for me,” he says.

Mr. Kasselakis notes that it bothers him “that from Saturday June 1 and until further notice all scheduled surgeries at the Agia Sophia Children’s Hospital are canceled due to a lack of staff”, that “human lives are lost waiting for an ambulance”, that “the patients in the region and the islands they pray not to get sick because they have no care in their place”, that “an unscrupulous ariviste took over public health by order of the Prime Minister with a single purpose: To dismantle it and sell its pieces to private individuals”.

The president of SYRIZA calls the citizens “to fight for a quality public health that will give the citizen back his dignity, that will not leave anyone alone and helpless”, while addressing “to the young people who voted for ND and especially to those who have taken refuge in abroad to excel”, he says that with him and SYRIZA “you will have equal treatment and respect as we build our country towards progress”.
