The president of the party, Nikos Androulakis, is optimistic about the success of PASOK-Movement for Change in the European elections.

In an interview with newspaper “Macedonia”, The president of PASOK – KINAL states: “The ‘poll’ in society that our executives and I do every day makes us very optimistic. I am sure that PASOK will also be on the winning side on June 9, whether the measure of comparison is the previous European elections or the national elections of 2023. The upward trend of recent years, which will be strengthened, will turn into a government trajectory until the next national elections ».

She adds that the world has understood the limits and mistakes of her government New Republic and finds in PASOK the alternative proposal he is looking for. He is no longer convinced by the 41% alibi. “It is up to us to convince society that PASOK-Movement for Change can answer its problems and give life perspective, dignity and hope to everyone,” he notes.

He underlines that “the dispute at European elections is to send a message of disapproval of the arrogance of the 41% and strengthen the credible, progressive opposition”, while adding how “if PASOK is strong, it can unite the progressive world against conservation the next day. We are the only credible party that can create those social alliances that will achieve the renaissance of the center-left in political terms and not in showbiz terms.”

Mr. Androulakis points out how the European Parliament it is not a decorative instrument, so with their vote the citizens determine crucial correlations for the future of our country and Europe as the perception of the conservative right-wing parties of austerity, of “a little together and a lot apart” and that of the European Socialist Party are pitted against each other which wants to strengthen the common financial tools of solidarity and the protection of the welfare state. “So on June 9, citizens can decide which Europe they want. I deeply believe that we can and deserve more both in Greece and in Europe”.

Regarding the Foreign Policy which the government is following, the president of PASOK-KINAL believes that it prioritizes communication and not substance, observing that recently Greece has been faced with very unfavorable developments on all fronts. She claims she downplays her ongoing challenges Turkey mentioning only the positive agenda, not regarding North Macedonia the limits of the problematic were seen Agreement of Prespa and to the question of the protection of the Greek ethnic minority in Albania accuses Mr. Mitsotakis of acting as a party leader and not as prime minister, exploiting a national issue for his electoral aspirations.
