At Rose the President of PASOK-Movement for Change has been touring since the morning, Nikos Androulakis.

In his statements from the market, he pointedly commented on the latest developments in the scandal of the leakage of personal data of voters abroad:

“The scandal with the e-mails that Ms. Asimakopoulou from an executive of New Democracy, led the Independent Authority for the Protection of Personal Data to impose a fine of 400,000 euros on the Ministry of the Interior. The fine for the corruption of the New Republic will not be paid by the Greek taxpayer.

This money must be withheld from the state grant that New Democracy receives. Also, the minister, Ms. Kerameos. Anyone who carefully reads the decision of the Independent Authority, Ms. Kerameos must resign immediately. Once again, New Democracy exposes our country pan-European” Mr. Androulakis pointed out

In the morning, Mr. Androulakis was at the VAP Kougios brewery and was given a tour of the company’s facilities, which has been in business since 1966.

Then Mr. Androulakis visited the Rhodes “Andreas Papandreou” hospital and discussed with the medical and nursing staff about the problems they are facing.

“And here we encountered the same problems as in all the large islands of the country that are tourist destinations. Different needs in winter, different in summer. The governor informed me that some housing issues have been added to the Recovery Fund. It’s good.

But the strengthening of the National Health System from the Recovery Fund should have been a central political choice” he noted and repeated that “it is shameful in the year 2024 for a country that wants to be in the hard core of the European Union, that the citizens pay the second higher health costs.”
