NTEBLET BAHTSELI – PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONALIST ACTION PARTY: “This conquest is what the Turkish-Islamic civilization foresees. This conquest is a huge step that made Istanbul Istanbul, with the firman of Turkism, ended the awful Byzantium. 571 years ago , Istanbul which is said to be the most beautiful spot in the world as seen by the sun, was freed from her bonds and reunited with her beloved Turkish nation. The first center of Turkish rule in the world is Istanbul. Byzantium, the castle of oppression, humiliation and torture, was destroyed by Muhammad’s warriors. We will continue to discourage the front of internal and external occupation who have lost sleep over the conversion of Hagia Sophia into a mosque.”
