“We will overcome the threshold of 33% – Will Kasselakis stand against Erdogan with a T-shirt?”
For the upcoming battle of the European elections on June 9, the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance spoke, Konstantinos Kyranakiswho was hosted on his television on Thursday morning.
“Currently SYRIZA is measured at 14-15%. Have we come to the point where we consider that if New Democracy is around 34 to 35 and SYRIZA is at 17 – i.e. 18 points difference – that this is considered a failure for the government?” asked Mr. Kyranakis, adding that “ND will overcome the threshold of 33% not because there is no alternative, but because we have built a relationship of trust with the world”.
“We don’t stay at 41% as a panacea for everything. The ballot box on June 9 is empty, with the country needing a strong representation abroad on national issues,” he added.
“Against every well-wisher who slanders Greece internationally, we oppose stability. The children of the Coast Guard with the coat of arms need the protection of the Greek government against any wretched smuggler. Mitsotakis’ proposal for a Common European Defense will pass the EU, if we do well and send a message of stability.”
Responding to his criticism SYRIZA for letter to the Commission regarding the accuracyMr. Kyranakis wondered:
“But everything we have achieved so far, the Migration Agreement, the Recovery Fund and securing so many resources, how did we do it? Didn’t we send letters? I want the Greeks to think about who can best represent our national interests against Erdogan. The prime minister who succeeded in upgrading the equipment or Kasselakis with the T-shirt?”
New application for digital ship registration – To be presented on Monday at Posidonia
In closing, the deputy minister announced that the digitization of the registration of ships under the Greek flag is coming.
“It was a process with a lot of paperwork. Let me tell you that out of the 4,500 ships in the Greek-owned fleet, only 480 of them were registered. Now shipowners will be able to easily and quickly from the platform niologio.gov.gr to register their ships under the Greek flag. The application has been working since yesterday and we will present it in detail with the Prime Minister and the Minister Mr. Stylianidis on Monday at Posidonia.”
