The Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis continues the mobilization ahead European electionswith the Patras to be the next stop of his tour in the Peloponnese.

Speaking at a gathering of citizens in the Achaean capital, Mr. Mitsotakis pointed out that “the opposition shamelessly mocks all citizens, we choose to tell you the truth”, adding:

“We are never going to allow the country to go back to an era of rampant deficits, rampant populism and non-existent money trees.”

The prime minister also referred to “all the children who are starting the difficult path of the Panhellenic exams to claim a place at the public university and ultimately better opportunities to advance in their country. We are fighting for these children and we call on the 17-year-olds to vote because what will happen in Europe concerns them”.

At the same time, he reiterated that he is tired of hearing the opposition accuse the government of the arrogance of the 41% and called for massive participation in the June 9 ballot.

Mitsotakis from Aigio: Big mistake to say “I don’t vote” – Our will to put pressure on multinationals for product prices

Earlier, Kyriakos Mitsotakis met citizens at Holy and among other things he said:

“It is important when I go to Brussels to say that I am the biggest center-right party leader. I address those who voted ND and tell them that we were the ones who gave the tool of the postal vote. It is gratifying to be told from abroad how nice and well organized the postal vote was.”

In addition, he issued a new appeal against abstention and complacency in the run-up to the Eurocalp.

“Our opponents do not talk about Europe, but they give 45 billion in four years to cure every pathology but this policy takes us back to 2015. We will not go back to the era of bankruptcy.”

As he explained referring to the letter he sent to Ursula von der Leyen “we want to put pressure on the multinationals not to sell the products at different prices because Greece is a different market”.
