“Mr. Mitsotakis can at any time he wishes go with the president of SYRIZA-PS, St. Kasselakis, to the General Accounting Office of the State and there to examine together the official opposition’s program”
“We welcome Mr. Mitsotakis to the reality and the realism of the proposals of SYRIZA-PS”, the official opposition says in a statement.
He comments that “while only a few months ago he and his ministers were claiming that the reduction in VAT was not working as a measure to tackle punctuality, today, in his interview with Real FM, he announced the maintenance of the reduced VAT on taxis and coffee, for the purpose of treatment [και] stopping the rise in prices”. He adds that “in this context, Mr. Mitsotakis can at any time wish to go with the president of SYRIZA-PS, St. Kasselakis, to the General Accounting Office of the State and there to examine together the official opposition’s program as well as everyone’s views on the functioning of the economy”. He also comments that “possibly, this will also lead him to review the measure for the presumptive taxation of freelancers, which has led the vast majority of them to a financial dead end, for which he stated today that he has no intention of changing it”.
In addition, SYRIZA “congratulates” Mr. Mitsotakis “for his vigorous defense of the Prespa Agreement, after he announced that he will state to his counterpart from North Macedonia that the agreement provides for the one and only name of his country against all . Better late than never”.
